We live in a society with different kinds of people. We might have to deal with many people in our life. These are some of the important and practical steps you need to take to win the heart of people around you or to win the heart of the person to are in a relationship with.
- Don't criticize, condemn or complain.
- Give honest and sincere appreciation.
- Arouse in another person eager want.
- Become genuinely interested in others.
- Remember that person's name because to that person his/her name is the sweetest and important sound in any language,
- Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
- Make the other person feel important and do it sincerely.
- Show respect for the others. Never say "You are wrong".
- If you are wrong admit it quickly and emphatically.
- Begin in a friendly way because a drop of honey catches more flies than the gallon of a gall.
- Get the other person saying "Yes! Yes!" immediately and frequently to your questions.
- Let the other person do a great deal of talking.
- Try honestly to see things from the other person point of view.
- Let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers
- Be sympathetic with other person's ideas and desires.
